Rihanna popped out with a new hair color while supporting her beau, A$AP Rocky, in Miami for his PUMA pop-up shop on Saturday (May 4). The mama-of-two donned layered pink tresses, a black gown and iced out accessories that included a huge A around her neck.
Riri posed in a vintage red race car with A$AP wearing gear from his latest motorsport collection with the apparel line. The Harlemite sported the PUMA seatbelt T-shirt that features a “sublimated graphic that mimics a driver’s 6-point seatbelt,” the padded Balaclava which “mimics the look of a racing helmet and has a removable visor insert,” and the Inhale OG running shoe.
And for accessories, of course he wore an iced out “R” pinky ring representing his lady.
The Bajan beauty just might have been teasing part of her 2024 MET Gala look for tonight (May 6).
She previously teased what she’s going for this year while speaking with Extra at the launch of her Fenty Beauty Soft’lit Foundation event in Los Angeles last month.
“I’m actually keeping it real simple this year,” she said. “It’s gonna come to what my makeup and what my hair is going to do.” She shared that she has two dress options which are both, “Very simple-ish, compared to everything I have done.”
However, if we know the fashion killa like we think we do, her look will most likely be far from simple.
The Met Gala continues to be held at the Metropolitan Museum and this year’s theme is “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.” Last year’s theme was “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.”
According to VOGUE, the 2024 theme will celebrate the Costume Institute’s newest exhibition of the same name and G. Ballard’s 1962 short story. The invite-only event will require guests to arrive in the dress code: “The Garden of Time.”
The institute will also feature over 250 rare items that span over 400 years in fashion history, with designs by Schiaparelli, Dior, Givenchy, and more.
Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, and Chris Hemsworth will all host the Met Gala 2024 this year, as actress Gwendoline Christie, La La Anthony, Emma Chamberlain, and model Ashley Graham will return to hold down red carpet interviews with the biggest stars.
Viewers can livestream the Met Gala’s red carpet arrivals exclusively on Vogue.com starting at 6:00 PM ET.
