CONOR McGREGOR revealed his drastic body transformation as he boasted of weighing 13st 5lb.

That is amazingly almost two-and-a-half stone heavier than the 11st 1lb he weighed in before facing Dustin Poirier at lightweight in July.

McGregor has been smashing the weights recently as he continues to recover from the broken tibia he sustained in that fight.

And it appears to be paying off, as he tweeted: "190lbs of granite."

McGregor has only just started hitting the pads again after having surgery and instead focussed on increasing his strength.

And he is now so big his head trainer John Kavanagh recently joked he could fight at middleweight, with the pair soon to reunite again.

McGregor, 33, first returned in January and was knocked out in a rematch with Porier, 32, who he had beaten in 2014.

But in the trilogy bout seven months later, he suffered further misery after breaking his tibia seconds before the end of round one.

Having had successful surgery soon after, McGregor is eyeing a return next year and will be able to spar in just five months time.

UFC president Dana White said on The Jim Rome Podcast: “He’s chomping at the bit to get back in there and compete again.

“It’s going to be a while before he can put some torque on that leg. April, for him to start training again in April is probably about right.”

White also likened his biggest ever superstar to Sylvester Stallone's iconic Rocky Balboa character.

He said: “He obviously still has the desire to compete.

“You don’t ever hear Conor going, ‘You know what, man? I just don’t have the desire for this anymore.’ You now what I mean?

"Yes, he’s obviously very rich, and he’s training like Rocky in Rocky III.

"But he still has the desire to compete and the desire to fight, and we’ll see what happens.”
